Minimum Requirements...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferred)
  • Project Manager qualification (advantageous) 
  • Mminimum of 5 years experience in Project Management / Project Engineering industry (advantageous)
  • A minimum of 5 years technical working experience in the Brewing / Packaging industry (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the Krones Portfolio
  • SAP experience (Advantageous)

Job Specification...

  • Building positive and fruitful relationships with allocated the Customers technical and management team, KAG projects, Service Teams, sub- contractors and KSA internal departments
  • Assisting allocated customers with scoping and planning of new machine and retrofit projects. Attending project meetings as required before, during and after the project
  • Working closely with Customers and KSA CSC team and ensure allocation of resources required to execute customer projects effectively
  • Ensuring all project documents and control systems are kept up to date as required from KSA management and KAG project control (SAP)
  • Controlling projects with regards to deadlines, budgets, quality of work, risk assessment and claims. Ensure all projects are closed out technically and commercially with the Customer and KAG
  • Ensuring effective project management on allocated projects, ensuring that all actions and planning done is in accordance to the global WORK 3 cost saving initiative, working towards the target as set out by KAG
  • Handling deviations between contract and quotations, any claims relating to the allocated project between Krones, customers and sub-contractors
  • Ensure the Customer is continually updated with regards to the progress or deviations from initial project plan of the projects and ensuring minimal Customer escalations
  • Ensuring effective communication with customers, assisting them with technical support offering solutions and troubleshooting where required
  • Liaise and coordinate between the Customer, KSA and KAG ensuring issues are closed out timeously
  • Claim and reclamation management with KAG and Customers during the installation and commission phase of the project
  • Attend the Customers SPP meetings, ensure all customers queries on support and payment concerns around projects are addressed and closed out
