SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER:
COMBINED ASSURANCE (CA)
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R694 272 PER ANNUM
• REF NO: DM 17/18
Requirements: • A B Degree with relevant majors in either public
development, auditing, risk management or a similar/ related field • Up to
5 years’ relevant experience within the probity, integrated risk management
field and specific involvement with combined assurance activities •
PC proficiency (exposure to MS Office, SAP and Barn Owl products) •
Membership or Association with a professional body e.g. IRMSA, CA (SA),
IIA, RGA would be an advantage • Evidence of continuous professional
development and improvements would be preferred • A valid vehicle driver’s
licence with own vehicle/transport.
Key performance areas: • Support the Principal Professional Officer of
Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Combined Assurance (CA) with the implementation of CA processes throughout the City, through:
• City-wide implementation of the strategic direction for CA in an
effective, efficient and sustainable manner;
• Managing the key performance areas and the attaining of all
deliverable outputs and outcomes related to the CA processes, while
remaining legislatively compliant.
• Assist the BCM and CA Principal Professional Officer/Chief Risk Ethics
and Governance / Portfolio Manager: Probity in directorate/department
projects that will enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, morale or
professionalism of the CA and/or Probity function.
